Families Honoring Our Troops is a nonprofit group of Shasta County relatives and friends of our military personnel who are serving in the armed forces of the United States..

FHOT has been able to offer support to over 150 families here in Shasta County since our first meeting on March 13th, 2003.

We strive to keep our county aware of the enormous sacrafice our troops make in serving our countyr, and of the many Shasta County families who have loved ones in the military.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

Displaying our Mobile Monument honoring our "Gulf War Era" troops in various businesses and public buildings in Shasta County

Designing a permanent monument hororing our "Gulf War Era" troops that will be constructed at the new Shasta County Library

Greeting returning troops and giving them gift certificates donated by our commuinity in appreciation of their service

Participating in community events throughout Shasta County to increase public awareness of "FHOT" and it's cause
