2nd ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Families Honoring Our Troops (FHOT) is a non-profit, non-political organization of families and individuals who are dedicated to honoring and supporting our troops as they serve our country. FHOT has been able to offer support to over 170 families here in Shasta County since our first meeting on May 13, 2003. We strive to keep our county aware of the enormous sacrifice our troops make in serving our country and of the many Shasta County families who have loved ones in the military. We have designed a permanent monument honoring our Gulf War Era troops that has been built at the new Shasta County Library on Grape Street just west of the new City Hall. Money is still needed to finish having the names of our troops engraved on the granite tiles. Coming up is a four-person scramble golf tournament to raise these needed funds.
